Scatec Solar is a company specialised in delivering turn-key solar (photovoltaic) power plants to utilities and investors in Europe and the rest of the world. Scatec Solar is a subsidiary of Scatec, and was founded by Dr. Alf Bjørseth. The Scatec group is investing in advanced photovoltaics technology, and our goal is to be the first company to commercialise disruptive solar technologies. Scatec Solar is experiencing rapid growth, and is currently in the process of expanding the organisation.

We are now searching for our

Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

The CTO will be a very central person in evaluating current and future solar PV technologies. Central tasks will include:

• Evaluating existing and new photovoltaic technologies (from a system integrator perspective)
• Advising the Scatec Solar organisation on technology strategy and choice of solutions
• Membership in the Scatec Solar management team

We seek candidates with relevant experience and the following qualifications:

• A higher degree in science, business or engineering (MSc, MBA, Ph.D. etc)
• Comprehensive knowledge of solar PV technologies, and system integrator challenges
  
• Extensive experience from the solar industry
• Excellent communication skills

The job will be based at the Scatec Solar HQ in Oslo, Norway, in the beginning but with other options in the coming years.
