Garrad Hassan is an established, award-winning renewable energy consultancy with offices worldwide. We currently have vacancies for two solar engineers. These are key positions within an exciting new department and offer great scope for development as it continues to expand.

Chief Engineer: Solar CSP
Highly competitive package & excellent international growth potential
This senior role is focused on providing broad support to developers including CSP energy assessment and review, site measurement and inspection, plant performance assessment and feasibility studies. The post holder will also be responsible for solar thermal technology R&D.

We anticipate that the successful candidate will have at least 4 years CSP experience, a relevant degree, and will have been exposed to some or all of the following: Plant satellite data and simulation, supply chain and key market products including prototypes, electrical systems, due diligence, plant construction and O&M. Fluent English is essential and Spanish is desirable.

Chief Engineer: Solar PV
Highly competitive package & excellent international growth potential
This senior role will provide technical assistance to Garrad Hassan's clients on a worldwide basis providing energy assessments, technology review, site inspections, performance test assessments and feasibility studies. The post holder will also be responsible for solar PV R&D.

We anticipate that the successful candidate will have at least 4 years PV experience (grid-connected plants/ building integrated photovoltaic), a relevant degree, and will have been exposed to some or all of the following: the application of advanced tools for resource analysis, supply chain, due diligence and plant construction, as well as possess a strong understanding of technologies and electrical systems. Fluent English is essential and Spanish is desirable.
